The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Discussion Hall No. (1) the defense of the PhD dissertation titled:.”Strategic Consensus and Its Contribution to Enhancing Organizational Success. The Mediating Effect of Strategic Decision Quality – An Analytical Study of the Opinions of Academic Leaders at the University of Mosul”.

The study, submitted by Omar Salem Aziz Al-Mulla, aims to develop a comprehensive theoretical framework that explains the main concepts of the research variables and their relationships, thereby enriching the field of strategic management with a solid knowledge base. On the practical side, the study sought to diagnose the reality of strategic consensus, decision quality, and organizational success among academic leaders at the university under investigation.

The study reached several conclusions, the most prominent of which are:

The existence of a high level of strategic consensus among academic leaders, which contributed to unifying visions and making high-quality strategic decisions.

The results also showed that the interactive relationship between strategic consensus and decision quality represented the decisive factor in achieving and sustaining organizational success.

The session was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid.
