Discussion of a Higher Diploma Thesis in the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul on “Social Responsibility as a Mechanism for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education”
The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul discussed on Thursday, December 4, 2025, the Higher Diploma thesis titled: “Social Responsibility as a Mechanism for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education.”
The discussion took place in the Information Systems Department laboratory hall.
The thesis was presented by Bashar Taha Abd Ahmed, and the study aimed to analyze and evaluate the extent to which the requirements of social responsibility—according to the international standard ISO 26000:2010—are met, in addition to measuring the level of implementation of vocational education quality standards in vocational schools in Nineveh Governorate.
The study reached several important conclusions, the most notable of which were:
Strengthening community partnerships in support of the educational process.
Enhancing managerial efficiency in vocational schools and expanding the scope of vocational innovation to achieve an integrated and sustainable vocational education system.
