Department of Marketing Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Automated Marketing and Artificial Intelligence

The Department of Marketing Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled: “Automated Marketing and Artificial Intelligence: The Future of Digital Transformation in Business Organizations”

The workshop was held on Wednesday morning, 17 December 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in Hall (1) at the College Deanship. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Salam Al-Hamadani, with Lecturer Shaimaa Nazim Hamdoun serving as session rapporteur.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, along with a distinguished group of faculty members from the Department of Marketing Management, and witnessed wide participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The workshop activities began with an opening speech delivered by the Head of the Organizing Committee, Professor Dr. Munther Khudair Yaqoub, in which he emphasized the importance of keeping pace with rapid digital transformations and highlighted the role of automated marketing and artificial intelligence in enhancing the competitiveness of business organizations.

The workshop included the presentation of three specialized scientific papers, addressing various themes related to automated marketing and digital transformation, as follows:

1. “Automated Marketing and Its Role in Enhancing Marketing Strategies Using Artificial Intelligence”
Presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Hamed.

2. “Ethics of Digital Payment in the Context of Automated Marketing and Digital Transformation”
Presented by Professor Dr. Munther Khudair Yaqoub.

3. “Automated Marketing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”
Presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Abdul Jabbar Ibrahim.

 

At the conclusion of the workshop, the floor was opened for discussion, questions, and suggestions from the audience, followed by the reading of the workshop’s recommendations.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, then distributed certificates of appreciation to the participants and the organizing committee, in recognition of their scientific and organizational efforts, reaffirming the Deanship’s support for scientific activities that contribute to knowledge development and the enhancement of students’ research skills.
