College of Administration and Economics

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibraheemi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics organized a scientific workshop on Sunday, December 21, 2025, entitled: “The Future of Research in the Era of AI”,which held in Discussion Hall No. (2), with the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members and students.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Bilal Bahaa Zaidan from SP Jain School of Global Management, Sydney – Australia. The lecture addressed several important scientific themes, focusing on data collection mechanisms and their use in scientific research, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on enhancing the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of scientific research, in line with the requirements of contemporary academic research.
This workshop comes within the framework of supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the capabilities of students and researchers, developing their research skills, and keeping pace with digital transformations in research methodologies. This contributes to improving higher education outcomes and raising the quality of academic research at the college.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College presented a certificate of appreciation to the guest lecturer in recognition of his scientific efforts and valuable contribution to the success of this academic event.
