The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses a Higher Diploma (Equivalent to a Master’s Degree) Thesis in Security Strategic Planning

The University of Mosul – College of Administration and Economics – Department of Business Administration witnessed on Monday, 19 January 2026, the discussion of a Higher Diploma thesis equivalent to a Master’s degree in Security Strategic Planning entitled: Applying the Value Network Model in Formulating a Strategic Vision for Nineveh Governorate,” held in Discussion Hall No. (2).

The thesis, presented by the student Ridhwan Munther Abdulrahman Al-Bak, aimed to identify the nature of the relationship and the extent of applying the value network as an independent variable, through its dimensions represented by (research and development, design, production, marketing, distribution, and service), in formulating the strategic vision with its dimensions (ambition, uniqueness, excellence and innovation, ability to imagine and visualize, consensus and acceptance).

The study concluded with a number of findings, most notably the existence of a statistically significant impact of each dimension of the value network, individually, in enhancing the strategic vision. An increased focus on research and innovation across the various dimensions of the value network directly contributes to supporting and building an effective strategic vision for the field under study.
