The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses a Higher Diploma Thesis on the Role of Digital Transformation in Enhancing Entrepreneurship

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, represented by the Department of Management Information Systems, witnessed on Monday, 19 January 2026, the discussion of a Higher Diploma thesis entitled: Digital Transformation and Its Role in Enhancing Entrepreneurship: A Survey Study at Asiacell Telecommunications Company,” held in Discussion Hall No. (1).

The study, presented by the student Ajeeb Hashim Faisal, aimed to clarify the role of digital transformation in enhancing entrepreneurship at Asiacell Telecommunications Company by identifying and analyzing the nature of the relationship between the two variables, and measuring the impact of digital transformation as an independent variable on entrepreneurship as a dependent variable, through its four main dimensions: creativity, autonomy, proactiveness, and risk-taking.

The study reached a number of conclusions, most notably the existence of a positive and statistically significant correlation and impact between digital transformation and entrepreneurship in the company under study, confirming the importance of adopting modern digital technologies in supporting entrepreneurial orientation and enhancing the competitive capabilities of organizations.
