The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Achieves First Place Nationwide in the Creativity and Excellence Award for the Assessment Examination

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the college’s students achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by winning top positions in the Creativity and Excellence Award for the Assessment Examination for the academic year 2024–2025. The event was held today at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Baghdad, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
The scientific competition witnessed the participation of the Departments of Business Administration and Accounting from the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, alongside students from public and private universities across various Iraqi provinces. The total number of participants reached (254) male and female students nationwide.
The examination results revealed remarkable excellence among students of the Department of Business Administration, as student Mohammed Mazen Abdulrahman secured first place nationwide in the specialization of Business Administration. In addition, student Mohammed Salem Saeed achieved fourth place nationwide in the same competition, clearly reflecting the advanced academic level of the department’s students.
This achievement came as a result of the continuous follow-up and academic support provided by the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Sabawi, with the support of the college deanship, as well as the presence and accompaniment of students during the examination by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid.
This academic distinction embodies the commitment of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul to enhancing the quality of its educational outcomes and fostering a culture of scientific competition, thereby contributing to elevating the university’s standing at both the national and academic levels.
