Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, the Assistant President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, inaugurated the Tourism Festival held by the Faculty of Tourism Sciences at the University of Mosul under the slogan “Nineveh Tourism, Civilization and Heritage”, on Monday, November 7, 2022.

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Ibrahimi, Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, Dean of the College.The festival included a curriculum that began with any of the wise remembrance and standing a minute of silence and reading Surah Al-Fatiha in mercy on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by a video presentation that documented the march of the college and its effectiveness in upgrading the tourism scene in Mosul and Iraq, while the opening speech was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, Dean of the College, reviewed its role in graduating qualified students to work in the field of tourism and introduce the civilization of Iraq.On the sidelines of the festival, the representative of the President of the University inaugurated the art exhibition, which included paintings and heritage handicrafts that translated the college’s approach to documenting the civilization and heritage of Mosul and the creativity of its people.
