In cooperation between the College of Administration and Economics / Department of Industrial Management and the Diwan of Nineveh Governorate / Department of Total Quality Management and Institutional Development and under the slogan (Quality is a way of life), the work of the first scientific forum of the Department of Industrial Management was launched Sunday 20 – November 2022, and the opening of the forum began with a verse from the Holy Quran read to the audience Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sattar Al-Hafiz Then a speech by the Dean of the College welcomed the attendees and talked about the importance of quality and its management in state institutions and the extent of its impact on the daily life of the community as well as the type of service provided to customers in various fields, and the start of the work of the forum with its first scientific session headed by Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Jubouri and accompanied by Mr. Firas Muhannad Hussein, rapporteur of the scientific session, representing the Nineveh Governorate Office, and hosting the first session, visiting Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Jabbar Al-Zubaidi, an expert accredited to ISO in the United Kingdom. And a fellow of the British Institute for Quality and his contribution was entitled (international quality specifications and applications, ISO 9001, and ISO 50001) and the forum was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, a delegation from Nineveh Governorate, the Dean’s assistants and faculty members in our college, and a generous gathering of college students for postgraduate and preliminary studies.
