The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Measuring and analyzing the impact of the digital economy on international trade for selected Arab countries for the period (1990-2020)”
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs.
The current study presented by the student “Ali Sattam Sultan” in the Department of Economics aimed at the recent economic changes in the field of technology and information led to the reliance on newer technologies to keep pace with the rapid development that occurs globally in all different economic sectors, which was called the digital economy, so the digital economy is one of the main pillars on which it relies heavily in our present and future time, because it contributes to the development of the country’s GDP and thus improve its international trade at the level of competition. International,The study concluded several conclusions, the most important of which are: that the degree of integration of most of the time series of indicators of the digital economy and international trade of the countries selected in the study was unstable at the level and after taking the first differences, all of them stabilized, meaning that they were unstable at the level, but they became stable after taking the first differences, and this is a result of the security, political and economic conditions internal and external that the region witnessed during the study period
The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Khattab Omran Saleh from the University of Tikrit, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Thanoun Saadoun, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Rabah Jamil Al-Khatib.
