Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee and the Governor of Nineveh, and at the kind invitation of the Nineveh Center for Research and Studies, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, attended the conference “Building bridges and strengthening cooperation mechanisms between local government, public and private universities and non-governmental organizations in Nineveh Governorate – to achieve community integration”, which was held with the support of Al-Noor College.
The conference was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, a number of university and college presidents, the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Nineveh Branch, and the Nineveh Future Center for Strategic Studies.
The conference aimed to enhance cooperation and partnership between local government, universities and non-governmental organizations in Nineveh Governorate, achieve scientific and practical integration, and emphasize the role of universities in supporting reconstruction, stability, peacebuilding, enhancing social cohesion, non-violence and community integration.
