The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “Modern trends of monetary policies in light of financial crises in a number of developing countries for the period 1990-2020”

The current study aims … Submitted by the student “Abdul Aziz Turki Deli” in the Department of Economics, to the use of modern monetary policies in order to reduce the effects of the financial crisis and move away from the use of selective monetary policy characterized by a short look and temporary solutions and focuses on addressing the result and leaving the cause, as the study started from the premise that monetary policy in its modern orientations respond quickly with all its variables when financial crises occur expressed in its indicators (current account and the value of shares and bonds traded), whether in the short term or Remote in the countries under research during the duration of the study.

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: the existence of a common integration relationship between monetary policy variables on the current account balance as a percentage of GDP and financial markets (stocks, bonds).
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Bashar Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Al-Iraqi, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Hashim Muhammad Al-Arkub, Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Fakhr Al-Din Ayoub, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalil Ismail Aziz from the University of Tikrit, Assistant Professor Dr. Rabah Jamil Al-Khatib, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Saadoun Hussein Farhan.
