Part of it was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.The current study presented by the student “Hadeel Adnan Abd Hamdoun” in the Department of Economics aimed at reducing the level of government spending in an attempt to highlight the nature of the theoretical relationship between government spending, budget deficit, exchange rates and inflation. Where it has become important to know the reasons for the development of government spending coinciding with the development of the state and the degree of its contradiction with the economy, as there are several factors and variables that restrict it and have contributed to this, to an increase in the levels of government spending, both in appearance and in practice in countries,The study dealt with a sample consisting of four Arab countries: Iraq, Algeria, Jordan and Egypt. All of these countries fall within the middle-income category and were classified according to income and region for Arab countries.
