The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the higher diploma tagged “Factors affecting the adoption of virtual health care: an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of patients in Nineveh Governorate”.

The current study presented by the student “Karam Hisham Abdullah” in the Department of Management Information Systems aims that the use of modern technology interventions in the field of health has the potential to improve and sustain health care delivery, which achieves many interesting developments in the treatment and management of noncommunicable diseases. In addition, people living with NCDs continue to need services, and factors such as distance, cost, mobility, displacement and emergencies can negatively affect service delivery. The pandemic exacerbated the situation, as health facilities were full of COVID-19 patients and NCD patients were required to stay home to avoid acute symptoms.
The study reached conclusions, the most important of which are :(the existence of a strong correlation between the factors and the intention to adopt the virtual health care of the surveyed organization), and there is (a positive statistically significant effect between these factors and the intention to adopt).

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hussein, and the membership of each of the teacher, Dr. Muhammad Asim Muhammad, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ramadan Mahmoud Remo.
