The University of Mosul held a scientific workshop entitled (Development of Higher Education in Iraq) On Monday, 28/10/2024

Under the slogan of developing higher education in Iraq ….
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi
And the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman
The College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul held a scientific workshop entitled (Development of Higher Education in Iraq)
On Monday, 28/10/2024 at 9 am in Discussion Hall No. 2, which was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mounir Salem Taha, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, and a number of faculty and students of the Faculty and the University …
The workshop opened with the recitation of any of the Holy Quran, then an opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty, welcoming the guests, then starting the work of the first session, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed
The themes of the scientific workshop on the first day included four scientific sessions and six research papers were delivered:
The first axis: university governance and the development of higher education in Iraq….. Experienced Professor Atheel Abdul-Jabbar Al-Jomard.

The second axis / levels of scientific control in the institution of higher education and its effects through cyberspace … Prof. Dr. Hisham Mohammed Abdullah.
The third axis / methodology for the development of higher education in Iraqi universities … Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salem Saadallah.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the improvement and development of university education and the educational process, focus on developing the knowledge of employees in the educational institution, disseminate the ethics of self-evaluation, transparency, and verify the consistency of the objectives of the teaching programs with the most important acquired students’ skills.
