Meeting of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Student Support at the College…

Today, Monday, December 9, 2024, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs held a meeting of the Sustainable Development Committee at the Faculty, where the most prominent axes and objectives of sustainable development were discussed, especially the goal related to poverty eradication.

In this context, the college emphasized its active role in supporting students through the provision of financial aid and scholarships. The meeting also discussed the importance of reducing tuition fees for evening and parallel education students, in order to enhance education opportunities for all and reduce the financial burdens faced by students.

The subject of the field visit of the university presidency by the college was also addressed, in addition to discussing research related to sustainable development goals. Preparations for the festival and conference on sustainable development were also discussed, with an emphasis on the possibility of providing material and moral support to the members of the Liaison and the Commission on Sustainable Development to enhance their efforts.

The meeting concluded by stressing that the college will continue to adopt policies that support sustainable development, thus contributing to the creation of a fair and inclusive educational environment that enhances students’ well-being and supports their academic career.
