Training Course at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, on Lahn (Errors) in the Arabic Language

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jameel, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul organized a specialized training course entitled:
“Lahn in the Arabic Language: Its Types and Its Impact on the Accuracy of Functional Expression.”
The course was held over three days—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, (September 30 – October 1–2, 2025), in Laboratory No. (1).
The lectures were delivered by:
1. Assistant Lecturer Nadia Fadel Ali
2. Assistant Lecturer Saja Ismail Ibrahim
3. Assistant Lecturer Sawsan Khalid Abdulghani
The topics of the course focused on:
1. Definition of Lahn (error) linguistically and technically.
2. The difference between Lahn and error.
3. The importance of avoiding Lahn in reading, writing, and speaking.
The course witnessed notable participation from a number of faculty members and staff, enhancing their linguistic and professional abilities in dealing with modern concepts within the university work environment.
