Extended Administrative Meeting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Emphasizes Administrative Discipline and Flexibility in Serving Students

On the morning of Thursday, October 2, 2025, the Dean’s Office of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul held an extended administrative meeting in Hall No. (1), presided over by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jameel. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqader, along with the heads of divisions and administrative units of the College.

The meeting discussed a set of administrative and organizational topics considered fundamental to advancing university performance. The Dean stressed the importance of:

– Ensuring administrative discipline and adherence to job responsibilities.
-Flexibility and efficiency in completing tasks and responding to official correspondence.
– Fostering cooperation and maintaining a positive attitude in dealing with faculty members, staff, and students.
-Diligent follow-up on daily correspondence, especially matters concerning the Student Affairs Division and external reviewers.
– Continuous review of ministerial regulations and strict compliance with them.

In this context, the Dean placed special emphasis on students, highlighting the need to:

-Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with all students, while simplifying procedures and facilitating their transactions as much as possible.
– Treat students in a collegial and supportive manner to strengthen mutual trust between them and the College.

-Pay particular attention to students from other provinces, dormitories, districts, and remote areas, considering the challenges they face due to their living conditions and distance from the university.

-Expedite the processing of student-related transactions and provide services that take into account their circumstances while reducing both time and effort.

The Dean also praised the significant efforts of division and unit heads, commending their valuable services to the College and its members. The meeting further included several constructive interventions and development-oriented proposals from the participants.

The session concluded with an affirmation that work will soon be completed on issuing identification badges for employees, to be worn visibly, in order to enhance administrative organization and professional identity within the College.
