The Council of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at the University of Mosul Holds Its Regular Meeting.
The Council of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at the University of Mosul held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Al-Taweel, with the attendance of all council members, to discuss a number of scientific, administrative, and organizational matters included in its agenda, within the framework of monitoring the center’s activities and enhancing its research and institutional performance.
The meeting included a review of ongoing research projects and future work plans, in addition to discussing mechanisms to strengthen scientific cooperation and develop research and training programs that support the dryland and conservation agriculture sector and serve the community. This aligns with the University of Mosul’s directions in supporting scientific research and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of food security, combating desertification, conserving natural resources, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
