“Statistical Analysis of Scientific Experiments Using SPSS” Workshop Held at the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research , University of Mosul.

As part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week organized by the University of Mosul, the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research held a scientific workshop on Monday, February 9, 2026, titled:
“Statistical Analysis of Scientific Experiments Using SPSS.”
The workshop lectures were delivered by: Professor Dr. Salem Hammadi Antar, Lecturer Dr. Islam Abdul Sattar Al-Rajabo, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Ibrahim Abd.
The workshop addressed methods of statistical analysis of non-parametric data used in questionnaire analysis, particularly those adopted by researchers in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Agricultural Economics, aiming to train researchers on proper scientific methods for analyzing field survey data collected from farmers. This contributes to improving the quality of applied agricultural research and supports decision-making in the agricultural sector.
The workshop comes within the center’s efforts to develop the skills of researchers and postgraduate students in using modern statistical tools, serving scientific research development and supporting sustainable agricultural development.
This initiative also aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4 (Quality Education): By enhancing researchers’ skills and improving scientific and technical training efficiency. Goal 2 (Zero Hunger): Through supporting research that contributes to improving agricultural productivity and food security. Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): By strengthening research capacities that support agricultural sector growth and sustainable job creation. Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Through promoting scientific cooperation among research centers and agricultural institutions.
