Comprehensive Field Campaign to Clean the Surroundings of the AFCAR Center.

The staff of the Center of Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research (C.AFCAR) conducted on Sunday, April 19, 2026 a comprehensive field campaign to clean and remove bushes and random plants surrounding the center’s building, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the environmental condition. The campaign included removing dense weeds and cleaning the external courtyards around the center, with the participation of a number of the center’s engineers.

This initiative aims to enhance public cleanliness, reduce the spread of insects, as well as to give a decent civilized appearance to the center and its surroundings. The center’s administration affirmed its commitment to continuing similar periodic campaigns to maintain a clean and safe environment that serves both the university and the center alike.

This practice aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, including:

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

        Goal 13: Climate Action

        Goal 15: Life on Land
