A Scientific Visit by Faculty Members and Students of the Northern Technical University.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research received students and faculty members from the Departments of Plant Production Technologies and Medicinal Plants and Natural Products Technologies (second and fourth levels, undergraduate study) at the Technical College of Agriculture, Northern Technical University. They were received by a number of the Center’s researchers as part of a scientific visit program aimed at exploring modern agricultural laboratories and the methodologies for using engineering designs and mechanization technologies adopted at the Center.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with conservation agriculture machinery, laboratory instruments, and their operational procedures, in addition to providing opportunities for acquiring practical skills and gaining exposure to scientific experiments.

This activity is aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

  • Goal 2 (Zero Hunger): by supporting sustainable agricultural systems that enhance food security.

  • Goal 4 (Quality Education): by providing hands-on learning experiences and practical training.

  • Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): through the promotion of efficient and sustainable use of agricultural technologies and resources.

  • Goal 13 (Climate Action): by encouraging climate-smart agricultural practices.

  • Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): through strengthening collaboration between academic and research institutions.
