Members of the Council of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research, headed by the Center’s Director, Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Mustafa Al-Taweel, attended the Sovereignty Day ceremony held on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall. The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, Chancellor of the University of Mosul, along with guests from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as a number of officials, researchers, academic staff, and university personnel.

  The participation of the Center Council members in this occasion reflects the importance of commemorating national events, reinforcing the values of belonging and national responsibility, and recalling significant milestones in Iraq’s history and their enduring national significance.
