The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches at the University of Mosul Organizes a Women’s Activity as Part of the Campaign Against Violence Against Women.
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches organized an awareness campaign against violence against women, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul. The activities included displaying informational and educational posters aimed at raising awareness about the issue of violence against women.
At the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches, we believe that every woman has the right to safety, respect, and a dignified life free from fear. Violence in all its forms—verbal, psychological, physical, economic, or digital—is entirely unacceptable and contradicts human and ethical values. The Center is committed to promoting awareness of issues related to violence against women by organizing educational workshops and field campaigns for staff members.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
