One of the scientific activities of Civilization Department, the Department held a discussion session entitled ( Akkadian bronze head discovered in Nineveh) on Monday 2021/2/15 at nine o’clock in the evening via cyberspace and on the Google Meet platform, presented
by Professor Dr. Hussein Dhahir Hammoud, a Professor in Department of Civilization. During the session, was discussed the most prominent theories that came about the origin of this head, the era in which it was found and those who returned to of the kings of ancient Iraq, as well as the method of work, the materials used, and artist’s creativity to make it.
. During the session, some related scenes and artistic works was shown .At the end of the session ,it was allowed to dicuss between the researcher and the audience.
