Department of archaeology discussed a master’s thesis by the researcher (Youssef Moayed Hassan) his thesis is titled (The art of decorating mosques in the city of Mosul during the Ottoman era)The study dealt with the methods and technical elements of the Islamic decoration implemented on the various architectural elements of the mosques of Mosul during the Ottoman era, represented by the external entrances, internal walls, hollow niches, windows, windows, facades of arches, columns, arches, boxes and their tombs, whose effects are still visible to this day.The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Qassem Al-Jumah and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Farhan Mahmoud Al-Yas and Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Jassim Hussein, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Akram Muhammad Yahya.
