The first chapter dealt with the nature of cultural heritage, the concept of preserving cultural heritage, the types of cultural heritage, and the most prominent motives behind preserving that legacy. The second chapter was devoted to presenting the preservation of the material heritage of the kings of Mesopotamia, which dealt Preserving cities and their architectural aspects such as palaces, temples, ziggurats and walls, as well as how to preserve the artistic heritage in terms of its material and style and the natural heritage that included royal gardens, irrigation canals, etc., and highlighted.
