Within the scientific activities of the Department of Ancient Iraqi Languages, the department held a seminar entitled(Study in the meanings of the verbs of the state and movement in the Akkadian language)On Wednesday , January 18, 2023At Behnam Abu Al-Suf HallA seminar was Delivered by Assistant Prof. Dr. Amin Abdul Nafi Amin/ an academic staff at the Department of Ancient Iraqi LanguagesIn this seminar, the researcher tried to stand on the meanings and connotations of the verbs of status and movement in Akkadian language.Due to the great importance of this topic, especially as it is linked between two important science, meanings, connotation and morphology,In his study of Akkadian verbs, he relied on the descriptive method, as he studied the verbs of state and movement.He explained the morphological characteristics and then moved on to talk about meaning and significance.
