Under the supervision and attendance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasmin Abdulkareem Muhammed Ali/ Dean of the College of Archaeology, the Emeritus professor at the College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul, Dr. Nawalah Ahmed Al-Metwally, a lecture entitled
(Women’s Contributions to Archaeological Work in Iraq) on Thursday, March 23, 2023
The lecture dealt with the contributions of Iraqi women in the fields of archaeological excavations and investigations, as well as the presence of women in museum work and their contributions in the fields supporting antiquities such as archaeological surveys, photography, conservation, treatment, and restoration.
The presenter called on women working in the field of archaeology to go through all fields of antiquities for the purpose of gathering experience and not to stop at one side only.
