– Holding a workshop entitled (Mechanism for Organizing and Promoting Academic Promotion Process)
The College of Archaeology and the Scientific Promotions Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled (Mechanism for Organizing and Promoting Scientific Promotion Process).
The Academic Promotion Committee at the College of Archaeology held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the hall of Dr. Behnam Abu Al-Souf, a workshop entitled (Mechanism for Organizing and Promoting Scientific Promotion Process). Part of it was attended by the Dean of the College of Archeology, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, and Mrs. Senior Translator Haifa Dakhil, responsible for the Central Scientific Promotions Division from the presidency of the University of Mosul, Mrs. Nour Ghanem Ismail and a number of college professors and affiliates, where the workshop included five axes: the first of which dealt with the basic pillars in the work of the Scientific Promotions Committee which was delivered by the Chairman of the Scientific Promotions Committee in the college Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Younes Abdul Rahman. While the second axis was dealt with by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Ali Ahmed Al-Mawsum (forms related to the first part of the mechanism for organizing promotion process, while the third axis was dealt with by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil and was entitled (Table No. (1) and its appendices of research and special documents In this axis), Assistant Professor Dr. Vian Mowaffaq Rasheed dealt with the fourth axis of this workshop and talked about (the contents of Table No. (2) and the points granted to the holder of the promotion in light of the activities presented in this table. As for the last, fifth axis, it was the share of Prof. Dr. Salem Yahya Khalaf, who spoke in it was about (scientific journals, their classifications, and the mechanism of publishing in international and local journals) while Ms. Rana and Adallah Mahdi presented these axes electronically on the screen of the hall.
