A Seminar entitled “Dar Tobya Mansour Shalal in Tel Kayf – an applied study”
The Department of Archeology/College of Archeology/ University of Mosul held a seminar on Dar Tobya Mansur Shalal in Tel Kayf – an applied study on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean of the College of Archeology for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Muharib Ali, Head of the Archeology Department, and a number of professors.
In her research, Assistant Lecturer Saima Muhammad Jawad touched on ways to document Tobya Mansour Shalal House through an applied study that relies on analysis and evaluation of the building’s condition and to conclude in a field study that aims to identify the most prominent architectural and planning features of this building and document it since no previous study has addressed it, knowing that the house is located In the district of Tel Kayf in Nineveh Governorate, the construction of which dates back to the Ottoman period.
