The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Permanent Committee for Sustainable Development and the Continuing Education Unit at our college, held a workshop entitled: “Providing a Work Environment That Achieves Gender Justice Standards.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Adel Najm and Assistant Lecturer Abeer Ahmed Jassim. The workshop addressed the theoretical and scientific foundations for achieving gender justice, focusing on the most important challenges and innovative solutions that contribute to providing a work environment that is fair, safe, and supportive for all employees, regardless of gender. It ensures equal opportunities in employment, promotion, and benefits, as well as equal treatment, rights, and responsibilities between men and women in the workplace, taking into account biological and social differences in fair ways. Gender justice is also a fundamental pillar for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 5, which focuses on gender equality.
