The University of Mosul Adopts a Plan to Unify the Logos of Its Colleges into a Unified Visual Identity

In an effort to establish a contemporary institutional identity that reflects its academic standing, the University of Mosul has adopted a plan to unify the logos of its colleges and centers into a unified visual identity.
The Logo Reformulation Committee held its first meeting on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the College of Archaeology, chaired by its Dean, Professor Yasmin Abdul Karim, and attended by a group of professors specializing in the fields of art, history, and academia.
The meeting discussed the work plan and timelines for reviewing the current logos and establishing mechanisms for redesigning them to align with the university’s unified visual identity and enhance its institutional presence. Tasks were also distributed among committee members to begin analyzing the visual elements of the logos, in preparation for the unification and modernization phase to reflect the identity of each college and the nature of its work.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees emphasized the importance of this step in establishing a comprehensive academic identity for the university, which will contribute to enhancing its corporate image and elevating its excellence at the local and international levels.
