College of Archaeology

The Branch Libraries Follow-up Committee from the Central Library visited the College of Archaeology and met with Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. The visit was based on the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, regarding the need to pay attention to the branch libraries in the university’s colleges and enhance communication to ensure the quality of library services. The committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, on Monday, September 15, 2025. During the visit, the committee reviewed the progress of work in the college library and met with the specialized staff. The importance of continued cooperation and integration between the Central Library and the branch libraries was emphasized to achieve the University of Mosul’s vision of providing the best scientific and knowledge services to society.
This visit falls within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, the fourth goal of which is quality education, and the seventeenth goal of establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.
