College of Archaeology

The Liaison Officer for the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Archaeology, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency and the Liaison Officer for Sustainable Development, held an awareness-raising workshop on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, targeting a group of female students at the college. The workshop, titled “Strengthening the Role of Women in the Electoral Process,” focused on women’s leadership in political participation and decision-making, as well as their active role in society. The workshop encouraged female students to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The workshop also aimed to promote a culture of active participation in public life, contributing to building a more inclusive and just society.

This workshop falls within the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 5: Gender Equality and Goal 10: Reducing Inequalities.
