Casting Turkish Stone in Ancient Molds in a Course at the College of Archaeology

Under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, the Student Activities Division at the College held a course titled “Casting Turkish Stone in Ancient Molds” for the children of university and college students at the University of Mosul, for the age group (9-12 years). The course was held for three days, starting on September 8, 2025, in the Creativity and Excellence Hall at the College. The course included a detailed explanation of how to cast stone in molds on the first day, along with a practical application. The second day included a detailed explanation of how to cast wax. At the end of the course, the participants were honored. The workshop was moderated by visual arts researcher Faten Anwar Shihab and Asst. Lect. Nour Faisal.
