Dean of the College of Archaeology Chairs Ministerial Committee to Assess the Scientific and Academic Reality at Samarra University.

In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a delegation from the College of Archaeology, University of Mosul, visited the Department of Archaeology at Samarra University on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. A ministerial committee from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the Department of Archaeology at Samarra University. The delegation was received by the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Saddam Hussein Khudair, and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abdul Hamid Hussein, Administrative Assistant. The visit was part of a field visit aimed at evaluating and analyzing the scientific and academic reality of the College of Arts, Department of Archaeology.
The committee consisted of:
1. Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, University of Mosul (Chair).
2. Professor Dr. Othman Ghanem Muhammad (Member).
3. Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil (Member).
The visit included an assessment of the readiness of the infrastructure and the competence of the teaching and administrative staff, as well as a review of the vital facilities that contribute to supporting the educational process within the college.
This visit supports the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.
