The College of Archaeology Participates in the First International Conference on Archaeological Tourism at Al-Noor University

The College of Archaeology participated in the First International Conference on Archaeological Tourism and Its Role in Economic Revitalization and Sustainable Development, held by Al-Noor University on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22-23, 2025, under the theme: “Cultural Heritage: The Creativity of Ancestors and the Responsibility of Descendants.”
The College’s participation was informed by the selection of the Dean of the College, Professor Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and a number of the College’s professors as members of the conference’s scientific and preparatory committee, in recognition of its academic and scientific standing.
A number of the College’s professors also participated in the conference. The number of participating research papers from the College of Archaeology reached 14, distributed over the conference sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
This participation stems from the College of Archaeology’s commitment, its academic departments, and its professors, to enhance their academic and research presence and contribute effectively to supporting the conference to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the fourth goal of quality education, and the seventeenth goal of strengthening partnerships for development.
