Workshop on Early Detection of Cancer
The College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul, represented by the Women’s Affairs Committee and the Cultural Unit of the Student Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, held a workshop entitled “Breast Self-Examination and Early Detection of Cancer” on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in Dr. Behnam Abu Al-Souf Hall. The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Yamama Zuhair Abdul Karim and Assistant Lecturer Rana Mohammed Jassim. The workshop addressed the importance of early detection of breast cancer and self-examination. It also aimed to raise health awareness among the academic community regarding the importance of early detection of breast cancer and methods of prevention.
