Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption in a Workshop

As part of the activities of the College of Archaeology/University of Mosul in the field of combating corruption, the Committee for Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption in the college held a workshop on combating financial and administrative corruption – the legal and administrative aspect – on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The workshop was presented by Dr. Ayad Dhunoun Younis, Assistant Dean of the College of Archaeology for Administrative Affairs. The workshop addressed introductory information about the phenomena of corruption according to the following axes: financial, administrative, and legal, as well as the reasons for its spread and its impact on the integrity of public office and its negative impact on the administrative system and society in general. Finally, the workshop addressed means of combating corruption by fulfilling the basic requirements in government institutions, working positively, and activating the role of the media in monitoring corruption. It should be noted that the target group for these workshops is the employees and faculty of the College of Archaeology.
