Al-Jeel Al-Mumayaz Mixed Primary School Visits the College of Archaeology

The College of Archaeology welcomed a scientific visit from students of Al-Jeel Al-Mumayaz Mixed Primary School, along with several members of the school staff, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. They were received by Dr. Yasser Jaber, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a number of faculty members. The visit aimed to foster intellectual and cultural exchange between educational institutions within the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, with the goal of introducing students to the importance and value of antiquities, methods of preservation, and the history of cuneiform writing.
The students toured the college, visiting the library and the Student Activities Department. A lecture titled “Antiquities and Heritage of Iraq” was also delivered.
This visit supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
