The Human Rights Unit at the College of Archaeology held a workshop.

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdulkarim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College, the Human Rights Unit at the College of Archaeology, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency, held a workshop on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, entitled: “Promoting Human Rights: A Reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” The workshop aimed to raise awareness among the faculty, staff, and students of the college about the importance of human rights and their promotion, as well as to discuss integrating the subject into the curriculum and strengthening cooperation with civil society organizations, in accordance with the recommendations of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Khalis Abdulkarim Farman, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the college.
The workshop concluded with a discussion of the attendees’ opinions.
