The Electronic Incubator at the College of Archaeology

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Archaeology, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdulkarim Mohammed Ali, the College of Archaeology’s liaison officer, in cooperation with the Electronic Incubator Unit and the University Presidency’s Department of Studies and Planning, Sustainable Development Unit, held an introductory workshop on the work of the technological incubator on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, as well as undergraduate and graduate students from the college’s academic departments. The workshop included an introductory lecture delivered by Dr. Khansaa Abdul-Ilah Ahmed, Head of the Technology Incubator Division at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with Dr. Layal Khalil, the college’s liaison officer. The workshop covered the mechanism of the technology incubator, the concept of entrepreneurship, and encouraging students and graduates to adopt their ideas and transform them into innovative projects that add value to society. During the workshop, a number of student entrepreneurial activities at the university were presented, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, Goal 8, Goal 9, and Goal 11, given the impact of these incubators on promoting innovation, developing projects, and serving the community in a sustainable way.
