College of Archaeology

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Abdul-Rahim Ibrahim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the College of Archaeology, represented by Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul-Karim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College, and her accompanying delegation, participated in the Mercy Bridge initiative established by the University of Mosul in the village of Batnaya, Tel Keif District, on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The university launched a comprehensive volunteer initiative, the largest volunteer campaign in the northern region, serving more than 10,000 citizens and providing health, educational, engineering, environmental, social, cultural, and sports services. The College of Archaeology contributed by delivering awareness lectures on the protection of antiquities and heritage. This initiative embodies the humanitarian mission of the University of Mosul and its community role.

This initiative serves the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 5, 10, 13, 16, and 17.
