College of Archaeology

Professor Dr. Mu’ayyad Muhammad Sulayman, a staff member in the Department of Archaeology, participated in the scientific symposium entitled “Medicinal Plants in Cuneiform Texts – Reading the Written Heritage of Mesopotamian Civilization,” organized by the College of Medicinal Plants at Kirkuk University. His research paper, also titled “Medicinal Plants in Cuneiform Texts,” reviewed the documentation of the use of medicinal plants in cuneiform texts and their role in therapeutic and pharmaceutical practices in Mesopotamian civilization. The symposium was held on Monday, December 22, 2025.
