College of Archaeology Continues its Contributions to the Bridge of Mercy Project

Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdulkarim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, the college continued its active participation in the Bridge of Mercy project through its humanitarian activities carried out in the village of Batnaya, Tel Keif District, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. The activities took place in the presence of the heads of the academic departments, a number of faculty members, and the head of the Student Activities Division. The visit included Batnaya Secondary School, as well as several residential homes and the Church of Mar Quriaqos, as part of building bridges of direct human connection with the local community and assessing their needs, reflecting the spirit of social solidarity and community responsibility.
The College of Archaeology’s contributions to this project are not limited to academic aspects only, but extend to include supporting humanitarian initiatives, consolidating noble values, and contributing to building a cohesive society based on compassion and cooperation. The College of Archaeology’s contributions are consistent with the University of Mosul’s vision of building the human being before the place, and promoting a culture of giving and human solidarity.
