College of Archaeology

Under the auspices of President of the University of Mosul,

Prof. Dr. Abu Said Dewachi , established the Department

of inscriptions and ancient Iraqi languages ​​ in the college

of Archaeology exhibition first scientific cuneiform for

the period11-12/2014 at the Hall Center student at the

University of Mosul , and the aim of the exhibition to

the statement of the importance of studying cuneiform

texts and read and analyzed as a primary source and

basis in the nature of cultures and systems , and is

worth mentioning that the exhibition included many of

the various models of clay tablets and seals mimic the

text and distinguish the show from the large number of

visitors , artists, intellectuals and university students .
