Today, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities received Dr. Ahmed Fakkak Al-Badrani in his official office Dr. Yasmin Abdel-Karim, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology at the University of Mosul, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of the Faculties of Archeology in Iraq
The meeting discussed a number of axes related to the study and work of departments and faculties of archeology in Iraq and the activation of archaeological excavations in the College of Archeology.
Emphasizing the importance of field work for students of archeology faculties and departments in all universities, and the need to provide job opportunities for archeology graduates, through appointments in archaeological departments and the use of their specialty to serve the public interest
For his part, the minister expressed the ministry’s readiness, support and support for everything related to the field of antiquities, including university museums that reflect the depth of the cultural heritage in our dear country
