– Membership of a committee to discuss the master’s thesis in the College of Archaeology/ University of Al-Qadisiyah
The participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasmine Abdul Kareem Muhammad Ali/ Dean of the College of Archeology as a member of the committee to discuss a master’s thesis in the College of Archaeology at Al-Qadisiyah University. The master thesis was entitled {street plans and alleys in the cities of Mesopotamia} for the Master’s student Elaf Amer Kazem under the supervision of Dr. Amir Najm Abd.
The discussion/ viva committee consisted of the professors:

The thesis aimed to shed light on the most important streets that penetrated the ancient Iraqi cities, to study their streets and know their importance within the planning of the city and to know the main purpose of its construction, whether religious or secular, so the street can give the first impression of the city when viewing it, so this topic formed one of the important studies that it dealt with many researchers in the field of archaeology and architecture.
The thesis dealt with the importance of the street for the cities of ancient Iraq, and the study focused on selecting models from the cities of ancient Iraq, including the city of Ur, the city of Nafar, and the city of Babylon.
