Alhamdanee to meet with dean of College of Archaeology/ University of Mosul
On Thursday 20/2/2020, His excellency Minister of Culture, Tourism and Archaeology Abulameer Alhamdanee met in his office with Dr. Yasameen Abdulkareem Mohammed Ali/ Dean of College of Archaeology at the ministry headquarter. During the visit both parties agreed to coordinate the cooperation between college of Archaeology and State Board of Antiquates and Heritage as well as Iraqi House of Fashion. It was also agreed to hold a symposium titled (Archaeology in reality and ambition) next March 26th at University of Mosul. The activity will include beside the symposium a paly of the history of Ancient Iraq using customs of the civilization of Iraq. In addition, it was discussed about the possibility of opening a museum at University of Mosul and to resume as well the excavation by the college of archaeology.
